Way Back Into Love

Shalom! As time goes by, minutes by minutes, as we blink, the academic session of 2011/2012 is coming to the end.

The 2011/2012 session starts off at the beginning of September, and ends at the end of June. Everyone of us have our own story of how our lives have gone and done for this past few months. We have our own journey, ups and downs, stresses, experiences, and lessons of life.

Some of us might not understand what one have gone through. In fact, I knew a best friend of mine who once said that,
"People always said that they understand what he or she had been through. But, the reality is, nobody will understand what I have been through, even if they experienced the same situation. This is because how I dealt with the situation as well as the people involved in that situation will always be different than others."
I don't know if she still remember saying this, but what she said really means a lot. Every single one of us will walk on different paths, and even if we crossed the same path, it will be in a completely different time, place and people in it.

So, what we can always actually do is to try to understand one's situation, by using this feeling called empathy. Try to put yourself in his or her shoes. Try to understand deeply what he or she have been through. And if we can't, ask them. After all, sharing is caring.

You might think that the title is a little bit off. "Way Back Into Love". Eeeewwwwww - that's what you think, isn't it? Haha. "Way Back Into Love" is actually the title of one of the soundtrack song of the movie Music and Lyrics, which starred Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore.

Try to understand deeply what the title meant... Actually, I chose this title because I'm gonna reflect back all of the official events of CUSUSM 2011/2012. We have had a great bittersweet year, as well as in CUS as well. So, I have gathered up photos of some of the events, and let us look back to what we have done in CUS for the past few months - the love that we have nourished, developed and shared throughout the year.
"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Let's go way back into love.
